sha Khan's capital Jangalbari

Jangalbari, the second capital of the city of Bharuch of Masnad-e-Ala Isha Khan, is now just 5 km from the Karimganj Upazila Sadar and belongs to the Kadirjangal Union on the west. It is known that in the eleventh century, a king named Jangal Balahoor established the independent kingdom of Bhati and established his capital Jangalbari. Before the right of Isha Khan Jangalbari fort, Kuch kings ruled. In 1580, Isha Khan defeated Shahbaz Khan and went to Chittagong on the sea and formed an army there and returned to East Bengal. Then Jangalbari came and defeated Kucharaja Laxman Hazo and won the jangalbari. After the capture of the fort, he reformed the fort and dug three trenches and kept contact with the river Narsunda and gave it the shape of a round island. There were innumerable buildings inside the fort. Although all the buildings in the fort were destroyed in the earthquake of 1326, the dharbar hall of Isha Khan, the house house and a mosque still survive today. Almost the entire broken cast wall, the pond in front of the mosque, the paved walls on the pond reminds me of the old days. By the time of the death, Isha Khan stayed in various places in the battle and ruled the state. After his death a section of the descendants lived in Jangalbari.
